My compositional output has been wide-ranging, encompassing orchestral works, chamber music, electronic music, theatre scores, and film soundtracks. I like to think of my music as challenging yet accessible. Early in my career, I came to the conclusion that if I was going to write in a dissonant musical language, I would provide a strong rhythmic foundation; conversely, if the rhythmic language became more fluid or abstract, I would gravitate toward greater harmonic consonance. This balance gives performers and audiences something familiar to hold onto while exploring less familiar musical territory. My goal has always been to create music that invites engagement, curiosity, and emotional connection without sacrificing artistic depth.
